The limit of UPI transaction is Rs. 1 lakh/day. This is subject to change.
To start using UPI, all you need is a VPA.
A VPA (Virtual Payment Address), also known as UPI ID or UPI address, is mapped to a user's bank account & is a unique ID to send or receive money using UPI. The most used UPI apps available today are BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc. Most major banks also have UPI integrated in their existing mobile Apps.
