RBL Bank welcomes Chess Grandmaster D Gukesh as its Brand Ambassador

RBL Bank has appointed D Gukesh, one of the country’s brightest emerging chess talents, as its brand ambassador.

At just 18 years old, Gukesh Dommaraju has already made history in the world of chess. He is the youngest-ever contender to compete for the World Chess Championship, and the third youngest grandmaster to achieve a rating of 2700. His remarkable achievements embody the spirit of a new, bold, and innovative India, with a focus on competing at the highest global standards.

Gukesh is set to challenge the reigning world chess champion Ding Liren at the World Chess Championship 2024 in Singapore, which takes place from November 23 to December 13, 2024. The championship marks a significant milestone in Gukesh’s young career, and his partnership with RBL Bank reflects the bank’s commitment to strategic thinking and foresight-qualities that align perfectly with Gukesh’s journey.
