Eligibility
- RBL Bank Housing Loan can be availed by salaried Individuals, salaried NRIs, self-employed individuals, and self-employed professionals.
Salaried Individuals:
- Minimum net income of INR 1,80,000 per annum.
- Minimum age at loan sanction: 21 years | Maximum age at loan maturity: 65 years or as per category.
- Work experience of minimum 3 year. If the current job is less than 1 year, then confirmation letter is mandatory.
Self-Employed Individuals and Professionals:
- Minimum net annual income as per latest year ITR/Financials of INR 1,50,000.
- Minimum age at loan sanction: 23 years | Maximum age at loan sanction: 65 years.
- Business continuity of last three years in the same field.
- PAN Card: For Individuals/Partnership Firm/Company
- Identity Proof: Any one (e.g. Voter ID/Driving License/Passport)
- Address Proof: Any one (e.g. Voter ID/Driving License/Passport/Telephone Bill/Electricity Bill/Registered Lease Deed or Sale Agreement/Bank Statement)
- Business Continuity Proof: Any one document dated 5 years old (Bank Statement/Sales Tax Challans/IT Returns/Shops & Est. Certificate/COI/Partnership Deed)
- Passport Size Photographs
- Any other valid Photo ID card issued by the Central or State Government
Financial Documents Required
For Salaried:
- Last 2 years of Income tax returns or the Latest 3 month salary slip or the Latest Form 16 issued by the employer.
For Self-Employed Individuals:
- Latest audited ITR and financials for the last 2 years (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/c., Computation of Income along with all schedules).
- Bank statements from the borrower's main account/s for last 6 months and 3 months of all other bank accounts mentioned in the balance sheet.
For Self-Employed Professionals:
- Latest audited ITR and financials for the last 2 years (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/c., Computation of Income along with all schedules).
- Bank statements from the borrower's main account/s for last 6 months and 3 months of all other bank accounts mentioned in the balance sheet.
- Professional qualification certificate and Degree certificate for professionals (Doctors, Architects, Chartered Accountants etc.)

Yes. You can transfer your existing Housing Loan from any other financier to RBL (Balance Transfer) and avail of additional loan refinance.
As per defined regulations, For loan amount of less than INR 30 lakhs the loan to value ratio is 90%. For loans between INR 30 lakhs and INR 75 lakhs the loan to value ratio is 80% while for loans greater than INR 75 lakhs the loan to value ratio is 75%.
Clubbing of income is allowed between spouse and parents and also for the cases where one of the applicants is salaried and other applicant is self-employed, subject to maximum clubbing of income of three applicants. This clubbing of income will be allowed between individuals related to each other as defined in the bank’s policy.
Yes. The loan eligibility will be calculated depending on the value of the property being purchased and the income of the customer.
There are no charges for pre-payment and foreclosure of floating rate housing loans. For fixed rate loans charges are applicable as per the schedule of charges.

- The customer shall ensure that in case there is any update / change in residence / contact information / employment submitted to the Bank at the time of availing Loan facility and thereafter, as necessary: he / she shall submit to the Bank the update of such documents within 30 days for the purpose of updating the records at the Bank's end.
