Head - Wholesale Banking

Bharat Rungta is the Head of Wholesale Banking at RBL Bank. He has been with the Bank since 2011 and brings over 24 years of banking experience. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and managing relationships with large corporates, MNCs, public sector undertakings, financial institutions, government departments and local administration etc.

Earlier, Bharat was Chief Credit Officer responsible for ensuring credit culture and credit compliance across the wholesale vertical. Prior to this, he was the Head of Corporate Banking responsible for originating and managing business with large Corporates across the country.

In his earlier assignments, he has worked with Yes Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and ICICI Limited which reverse merged into ICICI Bank Limited.

Bharat is a Chartered Accountancy rank holder from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Company Secretary by qualification.
