Activating your RBL Bank credit card is a simple process, and you have multiple convenient methods to choose from. Below is a comprehensive guide to each activation method. Choose the method that best suits your convenience to activate your RBL Bank credit card securely and efficiently.
Once you request for activation from any of the below way of activating your card, your card will be activated within 24 hours of giving the request and you will get a confirmation communication on your registered mobile number.

Steps to Activate:

Dial: From your registered mobile number, give a missed call to 8744810111.

Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation message indicating successful activation.
Card activation Via miss call can only be done till 30 days from card open date.


RBL Bank MyCard App Registration
The RBL MyCard App offers a seamless platform to manage your credit card, including activation.
Steps to Activate:

Download and Install: Get the RBL MyCard App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Register: Open the app and register using your registered mobile number and credit card details.
WhatsApp Activation
Use WhatsApp for a secure and convenient activation process.
Steps to Activate:

Initiate Chat: Send "Hi" to RBL Bank's WhatsApp number from your registered mobile number.

Select Option: Choose the "Activate Your Credit Card" option.

OTP Verification: Authenticate the process by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.


SMS Activation
Activate your card by sending a simple SMS.
Steps to Activate:

Compose SMS: Type AVSM & Last two digits of your Credit Card for ex: AVSM 12

Send: Send the SMS to 5607011 from your registered mobile number.

Confirmation: You will receive a message confirming that your activation request has been accepted. Once activated, you will receive a SMS confirmation.
If credit card remains inactive for more than 30 days from the card opening date, card activation will require a one-time password (OTP). Since SMS activation does not require an OTP, this method will not be applicable after 30 days of inactivity. Please use an alternative activation method if your card has been inactive for more than 30 days.
Set PIN
Setting up your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to activate your credit card:

Using the RBL MyCard Mobile App

Open the App: Launch the RBL MyCard App on your device.

Navigate to ‘My Account’ Section: Select your credit card and tap on 'Settings.'

Select 'Change Card PIN': Choose the 'Change Card PIN' option.

Set New PIN: Enter a 4-digit PIN of your choice and submit it.

Authenticate: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Note: For add-on cards, use the primary cardholder's date of birth during the process.

Enter Card Details: Provide your 16-digit credit card number, date of birth, and card expiry date.

Receive OTP: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Verify OTP: Enter the OTP on the website.

Set New PIN: Choose a 4-digit PIN and confirm it.
Note: If setting a PIN for an add-on card, enter the primary cardholder's date of birth.

Note: Credit card activation post 30 days of inactivity from the date of issuance will require a one-time password (OTP). The card can be activated through registration on the RBL Bank MyCard app, updating card settings (such as enabling online, international, or Tap & Pay transactions), or by setting up the PIN. Activation methods that do not require an OTP, such as missed calls or SMS, will not be applicable for card application.
